Calvary Christian School
Our volleyball program is a popular fall sport for the girls of CCS. The girls participate in the TACS West Regional Tournament every year, and have made several appearances to the TACS State Tournament. There are three volleyball teams: Elementary (grades 3-6), Junior Varsity (grades 7-9), and Varsity (grades 9-12). Younger students may play “up” one level as long as they play their appropriate level.
Our basketball program is the major sport offered for the students of CCS. There are six teams that participate in the TACS Conference. Our teams include the Elementary Girls (grades 3-6), Elementary Boys (grades 3-6), Junior Varsity Girls (grades 7-9), Junior Varsity Boys (grades 7-9), Varsity Girls (grades 9-12), and Varsity Boys (grades 9-12). Again, students may play “up” one level as long as they play their appropriate level.
The purpose of the Calvary Christian School Cheerleading Program is to promote and uphold school spirit, to develop good sportsmanship among students, to support athletic programs, and to develop positive relationships in the community. Both CCS elementary and secondary squads participate in camps each summer conducted by Fellowship of Christian Cheerleaders to ensure training to achieve all levels of the program’s purpose.
